LINKEDIN NAME FINDER TECHNIQUE

LinkedIn Name Finder is a fantastic shortcut.

Using Google, we can find most of these hidden names in your LinkedIn Advanced Search results by performing a simple copy and paste. This procedure taps into the contacts’ public profile, which includes the name, since most contacts do include their names in these public profiles.

Search Example: Quality Manager or Quality Control Manager in the Food & Beverage or Food Production industries within 100 miles of 53098. It yielded twenty-nine contacts. Our goal is to find as many names as possible.

RESULTS:

Copy the first line of each contact from the search results — title and company — then go to www.google.com, and, using quotations to phrase it exactly, paste the line into the Google search box. Make sure you use Google because this does not work in all search engines.

Google search results for each unnamed contact are listed below. Clicking on the name takes us to the contact’s page, where we find the option to View Full Profile. I have deleted last names in the interest of privacy.

Our search was successful in two of the four cases, giving us the names of contacts Bajta and James, but one contact (Quality Manager at Family Fresh Pack) has kept his/her file private, and the last search (Quality Manager at PepsiCo) produced numerous results.

If we add “Greater Chicago Area” to narrow this final search, we come up with Stacie *****, Quality Manager at PepsiCo in the Greater Chicago Area. Click on Stacie *****: Directory to go to the Directory, then scroll down to find her information.

RESULTS: Clicking on Stacie's name will take you to her Full Profile option.
