If you smoke pot in your private life, should Recruiters take that into consideration during the interviewing process? For that matter, what happened to free speech and expressing yourself? All that should matter is that I can do the job, right? I mean, what I do after hours won’t affect my job?

Or, is it a matter of a company being extra careful because every worker represents them? If your behavior could prove detrimental to the company, what’s wrong with screening bad apples out early? What do you think about all this?
