I have noticed an interesting trend lately that somehow got unnoticed by myself previously. That is, companies sending out exaggerated and hyped up press releases boasting of their recent executive level acquisition to their organization, without any mentioning whatsoever of the search firm that was largely responsible for the event to occur.

A couple years ago I was involved in an interesting discussion regarding legal and illegal questions.. One of the H.R managers was stating that there was no such thing as an illegal question, that Yes, one could ask a candidate how old they were in an interview; or how many months pregnant they were, or what religion that they belonged to.
We have all seen the vast number of articles regarding the interactions between the different generations in the workplace. We all have our personal views regarding the roles of the Baby Boomers, Gen X , Gen Y or the traditionalists. But we are talking about an entirely different generational mix then we are used to hearing about.
