Are recruiters Lazy?

In his article titled “Five tips for employee sourcing” he says that unequivocally so in his opening statement.   http://hiring.monster.com/hr/hr-best-practices/recruiting-hiring-advice/employee-sourcing-strategies/employee-sourcing-tips.aspx .  My reading personal perspective is that he doesn’t offer any validation to his statement that we are lazy.

That is, companies sending out exaggerated and hyped up press releases boasting of their recent executive level acquisition to their organization, without any mentioning whatsoever of the search firm that was largely responsible for the event to occur.

Karen MattonenA couple years ago I was involved in an interesting discussion regarding legal and illegal questions.. One of the H.R managers was stating that there was no such thing as an illegal question, that Yes, one could ask a candidate how old they were in an interview; or how many months pregnant they were, or what religion that they belonged to.
